Hugh Jackman Bares His Claws in 'Wolverine'

Two weeks ago, both the trailer for and several shots from the set of X-Men Origins: Wolverine were unleashed.

And today Entertainment Weekly revealed the above-pictured hot new publicity photo of Hugh Jackman from the highly-anticipated Marvel Comics screen adaptation.

Check out Hugh's ripped, buff bod.  No wonder he earned the title of People magazine's Sexiest Man Alive in 2008.

And Jackman, 40, isn't showing any signs of slowing down on the professional front, despite his latest film, Australia, only grossing $45 million after being in theaters for a month-and-a-half.

Before Wolverine's May 1 release date, the Aussie actor will host the 80th annual Academy Awards, to be televised by ABC on February 22.

Jackman is also set to star in an upcoming Broadway musical based on the life of famed escape artist Harry Houdini.

Meanwhile, he's also currently in production on the action flick Drive, where he'll star as a Hollywood stuntman who discovers a contract has been put out on his life.

Geez, keeping up with that schedule, this guy must be something like a, you know, superhero!
