Hugh Jackman: Celebuzz’s 2009 Father of the Year
Aussie hunk Hugh Jackman may make a living tearing things to shreds on the big screen, but on the domestic front it’s an entirely different matter.
When he’s not making hearts flutter in the nation’s cineplexes, Jackman can usually be found spending quality time with his two children, 8-year-old son Oscar Maximillian and four-year-old daughter Ava Eliot, whom he adopted with wife Deborra-Lee Furness.
Whether he’s treating the tots to a sweet, sticky treat or sitting son Oscar down for “the talk,” Jackman, 40, is the model of fatherhood in a business that isn’t always conducive to solid parenting.
For these reasons and more, Celebuzz is bestowing Jackman with the 2009 Father of the Year Award. Congrats, Hugh!

Hugh Jackman is absolutely, positively the best choice for Father of the Year in 2009 or any other year. It’s obvious he adores his kids and would rather spend his non-work time with them and his wife than doing anything else.

Agree 100%. He is dedicated to his family – and it is so nice that he is doing normal things with his kids like going out to a park or to the public swimming pool. And his kids look happy. Not like this little Cruise girl who is always dressed in a fancy dress but looks like she has no childhood.
And I am sorry, I can´t help myself but….is it necessary to find a reason to put Pattison to this story?! I mean, I know that some girls are crazy about him from some reason (what has that guy done so great btw?) but to have his ten photos and in a non-sensical poll is a little too much imo..
