Jade Goody Dies In Sleep
Jade Goody, the British reality star that captivated the world with a terminal cervical cancer battle over the past weeks, died in her sleep yesterday.
People magazine confirms via Max Clifford, Goody’s publicist, “she had been pretty much asleep for the last 24 hours,” and that she passed “just before 4 o’clock this morning.”
Goody’s husband, Jack Tweed, sat at her bedside with her mother Jackiey Budden.
Tweed offered that Jade’s mother was “as you would expect a mom to be at the loss of her daughter.”
The UK’s Big Brother served as Goody’s platform for stardom, sparking endless franchise programs and products.
Jade learned of her terminal illness in February, prompting her to marry Tweed and spend quality time with her sons Bobby and Freddy, 5 and 4 respectively.
After Goody passed, Tweed recalled Budden’s first words to him.
“My beautiful daughter has gone to sleep, has gone.”
Jade was 27.
