In Touch reports that longtime Hollywood marrieds Stephen Gyllenhaal and Naomi Foner (parents of actor extraordinaire siblings Jake and nudity-permissive Maggie Gyllenhaal) have decided to divorce.

A marital split at this stage in the game can traumatize the adult children of the divorcees. It can cause them to do all sorts of crazy things…like get married.

The breakup has apparently caused Jake to rev up plans to get hitched to girlfriend Reese Witherspoon.

Jake and Reese were allegedly on the outs, and this family strife might have forced them back together.
