Jamie Lynn Spears Says ‘I Will’ to Wedding
It’s been a bumpy ride for Jamie Lynn Spears. A controversial underage pregnancy. A stalking scare. Canceled wedding plans. Worries that she might be following big sister Britney Spears‘ wobbly footsteps.
But now OK! Magazine is reporting that the former Zoey 101 star will be walking the straight and narrow aisle with baby daddy Casey Aldridge. Probably in the fall.
The ceremony will be a relatively modest event on the grounds of Jamie Lynn’s three-acre Liberty, Mississippi, estate. Britney will serve as maid of honor. Aldridge’s sister, Ashlee, is picked as one of the bridesmaids.
“[Jamie Lynn] loves everything about the area where she lives. She’s not going to get married at some luxury resort in the Caribbean or a hotel in Beverly Hills,” a pal tells the magazine. “Her own backyard with just the people who matter most is more Jamie Lynn’s style.”
Naturally, new arrival Maddie, born in June, will play a part in the ceremony.
The magazine speculates that the tot may show up “in a basket decorated with flowers and carried into the ceremony by the bride and groom’s mothers. ” Either that or she’ll toddle up the aisle in front of Mom, sprinkling the ground with pork rinds flower petals.
