Janet Jackson Is Pregnant, Say Pals
Janet Jackson may have had a very good reason for canceling remaining dates on her Rockwitchu tour last month: Life & Style is reporting that the pop singer is pregnant, according to her friends.
An insider tells the mag that Jackson, 42, and her longtime boyfriend Jermaine Dupri, 36, are expecting their first child together.
The R&B/pop diva was in the midst of her tour in September when she suddenly fell ill during a sound check in Montreal and was briefly hospitalized. Several tour dates were postponed and then ultimately canceled.
Jackson’s tenth studio album Discipline was released in February. Thus far it has sold just over 415,000 copies.
By comparison, at her commercial peak, the singer sold six million copies of both her 1989 LP Rhythm Nation and 1993′s Janet.
