Janet Jackson Released from the Hospital
Though it may have seemed dramatic—especially to Montreal ticketholders—Janet Jackson‘s stint in the hospital only lasted a few hours. Her Rockwitchu Tour stop in the Canadian city was cancelled, nonetheless.
“Yesterday evening she was checked into the Royal Victoria Hospital and left a couple of hours later,” said Rebecca Burns, a spokeswoman for the McGill University Health Centre, to People.
Jackson, 42, “got suddenly ill” during her sound check, according to a statement from Miss Jackson’s publicist.
Not to get “nasty,” but has anyone stopped to contemplate that the reason for Janet feeling under the weather might have something to do with her boyfriend yacking in her lap the other night?
Or, heck, maybe she got vertigo from catching her reflection in the mirror during the sound check.
On the plus side, her sexual reassignment surgery was a complete success.
