He’s got 99 problems, but crowd-pleasing ain’t one.

Jay-Z, along with backer Live Nation, helped reincarnate historic venue the Hollywood Palladium with Adam “DJ AM” Goldstein last night in Los Angeles.

Beyoncé‘s husband performed a dozen-plus tracks for a crowd of die-hard fans, and was joined for one by Southern-supreme guest rapper T.I.

The venue, once-home to staple acts like Madonna, the Rolling Stones and Frank Sinatra, was wall-to-wall with celebrity supporters.

Among the attendees: a shear-sheathed Hayden Panettiere, Nicky Hilton and David Katzenberg (entertaining former Jessica Simpson assistant Cacee Cobb and Donald Faison with a bottle of Grey Goose), Eve, Will.I.Am., Sanaa Lathan and the Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl.

Ever the entertainer, Jay got political then emotional.

“Who here’s voting for [Barack] Obama?” he asked to thunderous cheers, before paying homage to his house DJ Goldstein.

Before his few tracks (mixed continuously), AM spoke to the crowd, asking for a “big shout out to Travis Barker.”

Seems as though Jay loves a miracle, and who could resist the opportunity to reintroduce Hollywood?
