Jeffrey Dean Morgan has some overdue Father’s Day cards coming to him.

Us Magazine reports that the 42-year-old Watchmen star and former Grey’s Anatomy cast member recently found out that he has a 4-year-old son with a former girlfriend, actress/producer Sherrie Rose.

“Yes, I have a 4-year-old son with Jeffrey,” Rose tells the magazine.

According to a source, Morgan received the news a few weeks ago, and has met the secret chip-off-the-old block since finding out.

“He’s shocked and surprised, but he wants to be in the child’s life,” the source says.
