Jennifer Aniston ‘Deeply Cares’ About John Mayer
In her interview appearing in the December issue of Vogue, Jennifer Aniston lets it be known that she is still very much smitten with John Mayer.
“I deeply, deeply care about him; we talk, we adore one another,” she tells the magazine. “And that’s where it is.”
This comes despite recent reports that had her linked to RocknRolla actor Gerard Butler.
In August, Mayer, 31, told reporters he broke up with the 39-year-old actress “because I don’t want to waste somebody’s time if something’s not right.”
So is their relationship right during their second go at it?
“He had to put that out there that he broke up with me,” Jen says. “And especially because it’s me. It’s not just some girl he’s dating. I get it. We’re human. But I feel seriously protective of him and us.”
She continues, “It’s funny when you hit a place in a relationship and you both realize [that] we maybe need to do something else, but you still really, really love each other. It’s painful. There was no malicious intent. I deeply, deeply care about him; we talk, we adore one another. And that’s where it is.”
Well, good luck with that, Jen!
