Have Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer ended their relationship? Again?

E! reports on a source are stating that the troubadour ended it when the Marley & Me actress returned from a recent series of appearances in Europe to promote her feel-good dog movie.

"He broke up with her when she got back from her European tour," a source said.

Perhaps he got a little skeeved when he watched her eat a dog biscuit on German television?

Neither camp is commenting. This would be the second time that Aniston and Mayer have ended their relationship.

The reportedly found love again in October of last year after breaking up in August.

The couple seemed content at this year's Oscars, walking the red carpet together for the first time and telling Oprah sidekick Gayle King that they were "very happy."

As for their current whereabouts and plans, Aniston is set to being filming the unfortunately titled baby comedy The Baster with Jason Bateman in NYC, and Mayer is reportedly holed up in the studio and working on a new album.

Both camps are refusing to comment, and an anonymous friend to the couple (Courtney Cox, we know it's you) says that the public shouldn't be quick to assume it's over.

After all, Jenn says that the perfect relationship doesn't exist.

poor poor whiddle jen. got her heart broken again.
maybe john was sick and tired of hearing her waxing so lovingly about brad in every single interview she gave in the last couple of months. i'd dump her too.

They both used each other. He for her tabloid-exposure. And she needed a boy toy for the Oscars and for her "I'm turning 40" pity party. Too bad people saw right through their act. It was pretty lame. Hope now her soccer mom fans forget Brad&Angie and turn their hate towards John. The Brad thing's a poor horse that's been burned and beaten already.
