Despite reports that Jennifer Hudson would return to work after the tragic deaths of three family members, the singer remains in private mourning.

27-year-old Hudson was set to film the music video for “If This Isn’t Love,” the second single off of her self-titled debut album, this coming week in Los Angeles, said Extra.

Us Weekly, however, confirmed with reps for Hudson that all plans have been cancelled.

“The video was set up before the tragedy and [Jennifer] felt like she should finish what she started, but she’s realized that she’s not ready to go back to work,” a source told the magazine, adding, “it’s too early.”

At the end of October, Hudson’s mother Darnell and brother Jason, 57 and 29 respectively, were shot to death in their Chicago home. Days later, the body of Hudson’s 7-year-old nephew Julian King was discovered in an SUV on a residential street.

Julian, Jason and Darnell were murdered by William Balfour, husband to Hudson’s 31 -year-old sister Julia.
