Is Jennifer Hudson adding designer to her resume?

The Grammy and Academy Award-winning artist tells Access Hollywood that, for her upcoming wedding to fiance David Otunga, she wants to design her own bridal gown.

"I want to design my own dress. Definitely classic, more traditional," Hudson says.

"Very classy."

Speaking of classy, the embattled diva will roll out on her first headlining tour in just a few weeks, with soul singer Robin Thicke, then tie the knot with Otunga on an undisclosed date soon after.

This rush of productivity comes after the tragic death of her mother, brother and nephew last year, at the hands of her brother-in-law.

Still Hudson remains optimistic, she's still a Dream girl after all. She intends to perform a medley from her Oscar-worthy turn when she hits the road.

    Jennifer, gurlfriend, how about you shy away from the traditional White dress? We don't want the Ghost Busters mistaking you for the Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man and blasting you with their Proton Packs.
