To celebrate her 39th birthday, Jennifer Lopez and husband Marc Anthony took in a Broadway show In The Heights Thursday evening.

The celebration was relatively low-key, considering the over-the-top lifestyle of J.Lo’s heyday. That’s when she should have done a reality show.

These days, Mrs. Marc Anthony is a more subdued woman. According to Marc, who spoke with Ryan Seacrest on his morning radio show, “It was a quiet night. We were really looking forward to seeing this amazing show and being here in New York.”

Now that they’re parents of twins, they let the babies do the loud stuff—with rare exceptions to the rule, of course.
