While Jennifer Lopez didn't resort to artificial insemination to become pregnant with twins Emme and Max (at least she hasn't claimed she has), her character will be doing so in the upcoming feature film Plan B.
Variety reports that Lopez, 39, will star in the fertility-themed comedy as a woman who turns to artificial insemination to answer her ticking biological clock.
In a twist of fate, she meets the supposed man of her dreams the same day she receives her positive pregnancy test results.
So far there isn't a director in place for Plan B, but producer CBS Films is looking to begin shooting in either April or May.
Perhaps they can throw Catherine Hardwicke a bone, now that she's off the Twilight sequel, New Moon?
J.Lo was last seen on the big screen in 2007's El Cantante. In the meantime, she's taken a couple years off to have and raise her and 40-year-old husband Marc Anthony's twins.
Emme and Max were born on February 22 of this year, and they seem to be ready for Mom to go back to work.
Do you think Jennifer can regain her A-list status again with her feature career? Take the poll below and leave a thought in comments!

Holy god, she really was big as a house when she was pregnant. I'm surprised she didn't have quintuplets.
