Yee-haw! Ghost Whisperer actress Jennifer Love Hewitt is working on a country album!

Hewitt’s current beau, Jamie Kennedy, tells People that his sweetie is “writing a country song,” and that once she’s amassed enough material to do an entire album, he plans to help her usher it into fruition. 

“I really want to make her a new demo for her music, because I think she should do singing again,” Kennedy reveals. “She’s so good.”

Hewitt, who has dabbled with music throughout her acting career, last released new material in 2002, when her BareNaked album blew up the charts with the force of 1,000 nuclear warheads.

Interestingly, Kennedy and Hewitt attended the Academy of Country Music Awards back in April. Perhaps they were looking for a few pointers?
