Jersey Shore’s Pauly D Has Integrity? Get Outta Here!
Apparently, there are some things that Pauly D just won’t do. Who knew?
According to Radar Online, the Jersey Shore tune-spinner—real name Paul Delvecchio—has been swimming in personal-appearance offers lately, including one request to walk a woman down the aisle for her wedding, for $50,000. And he turned it down!
How’s that? Well, according to Pauly’s rep, CEG Talent’s Michael Schweiger, his client is intent on keeping it real, yo:
“Someone in California offered us $50,000 to have Pauly D walk them down the aisle at their wedding, to give them away. We rejected the offer, because Pauly is a serious DJ and all the other cast members are doing lots of personal appearances but Pauly D is not necessarily doing the personal appearances because he feels he has a lot to learn as a DJ. He does not want to be doing stuff that is unrelated to DJ-ing.”
You sure, Pauly? Fifty grand will buy a lot of hair products!
But perhaps more surprisingly, there is a woman out there who wanted him to walk her down the aisle, and was even willing to pay big for the privilege. We have to assume that the bride’s father has passed away one way or another, because finding out that he’s been bumped from his daughter’s wedding in favor of an orange-skinned reality-TV star would be enough to kill any dad.
Really? A year from now he’d be lucky to afford a cab driver, so I wouldn’t reject that money if I were him
