Jesse James and Kat Von D Make it Official
You know it’s official when a couple hits the red carpet together. Jesse James and Kat Von D did just that Thursday night at the opening of Wonderland, her new art gallery in West Hollywood.
The inked-up couple held hands, granted interviews and posed for pictures together… and then there was the gushing. Kat, 28, told People that their romance is pretty serious (at least for her.)
“Jesse is only my ninth boyfriend. I don’t hang out with anybody unless I am in love,” she said.
The pair is now admitting they’re into each other after attempting the token “we’re just friends” denial, which was botched when she tweeted and deleted a confirmation of their hookup. Now she’s going so far as to announce she thinks newly-divorced Jesse, 41, is “The One” for her, saying, “I believe he is…yeah.”
Jesse was less chatty about his new girlfriend, hinting that they weren’t exactly ready to go public with their relationship, but were forced to by a steady flow of paparazzi pics.
“It came out the hard way and that’s sad,” he told Hollywood Life, “But [now] I’m happy.”
Considering Jesse was pretty much labeled globally undatable after his scandalous split from Sandra Bullock, Kat was naturally asked what drew her to him.
“[He's sexy because] of how intelligent and sensitive he is,” she said. “And of course tattoos are always sexy.”
So there you have it, folks. Jesse James and Kat Von D are an official couple.
