What is this, an attempt to butch up after getting an ass-whooping outside a Hollywood nightclub earlier this year?

Desperate Housewives gardener Jesse Metcalfe was snapped zipping around L.A. on a 2008 Harley Rocker bike. Guess he's gotta fill up his time somehow, since he hasn't really worked in two years.

Then again, there was that straight-to-DVD flick Loaded, which hit shelves in March and co-stars fellow hardcore badass and Gossip Girl star, Chace Crawford.

Jesse and Chace probably had lots to talk about on the set...such as why, for being two chick magnets, they're perpetually single.
