Jessica Simpson Is Going Into a Post-Daisy Tailspin
Apparently, Jessica Simpson was just one Malti-Poo away from a total meltdown.
Friends of the Dukes of Hazzard actress tell People magazine that, since losing her beloved pooch Daisy to a coyote last week, her pals are worried that she’s slipping into an emotional breakdown.
Says one Simpson insider,
“Daisy was her baby. It’s going to put her into a tailspin. It will put her into the worst place ever.”
Another friend of Jessica’s notes,
“Whenever things went wrong for Jessica, she reached for Daisy. Daisy was her security blanket. When people let her down, she always had Daisy.”
The loss of the Maltese-poodle blend has left Simpson so distraught, another source reveals, “She won’t leave her parents’ house.”
It probably doesn’t help any that the loss of Daisy—a gift from her ex-husband, Nick Lachey—comes during a particularly rough year for Simpson, one in which she was dumped by her former boyfriend, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo.
Maybe she should get a goldfish next? Word is that coyotes really don’t find them all that appetizing.
Let us know in the comments section: How long do you think it will take Jessica Simpson to get over the loss of Daisy?

A loss of an animal is really hard to deal with.
Specially if goes in front of you.
I still cant help that my dog is now “gone”
I feel so bad for her.
R.I.P Daisy.
I think its hilarious that she put up a “missing” poster on Twitter and created a website to help find her dog…Like the coyote just wanted to kidnap it and hold it for ransom or something.
Poor Jess. I know how it feels first hand as do many. My dog right now is laying against my back, i feel comforted knowing his there. The day my baby dies, i will never be the same R.I.P Daisy. x
Boo hoo hoo. Playing the worlds smallest violin on my two fingers right now.
poor jessica, i feel so horrible for her,i hope she comes back stronger and better than ever. glad to know she has great friends and family around her to help.
I feel horrible for her. I have 3 small dogs myself who I treat like my children. There is no real way of getting over this. Especially since she saw the coyote take the dog with her own two eyes. Daisy was more then a dog to Jessica. She was her best friend. Daisy went everywhere with her. I really feel terrible.
its not good to have a dog given to you by your ex husband anyway! her next dog should be her own picked by her.
its not good to have a dog given to you by your ex husband anyway! her next dog should be her own picked by her.
It’s not like it’s a teddy bear or something. It’s a living, breathing animal. Who cares who gave it to her?
She’s an idiot, but I feel for her and that poor little dog.
Boo hoo hoo. Playing the worlds smallest violin on my two fingers right now.
Wow, you sound like a really good human being. Hope nothing in life breaks your heart you piece of S*@%.
I am not a fan of Jessica Simpson, but I feel sorry for her loss. Daisy was her most stable and constant companion; it will take her a while to get over her losing her precious pup.
I feel like people are so mean and ignorant! Regardless of who gave her the dog, it was hers and she took care of it. What was she suppose to do? Give her back to her ex and tell him to take care it and he bought the dog for her. I don’t get you crazy sounding people calling her idiots and out her name period. I am not a big Jessica Simpson fan, but her little dog was takin by a coyote right before her eyes. I can only imagine what is going through her head of what she saw and what happened to her dog being eatin alive. It’s crazy to me! It’s going to take her a while to get over this.
You people are callous, I sure hope you don’t ever get into a situation like that. Jessica was careless, but have a little heart as to how the little princess died a horrible death. How would you like it if your daughter was eaten by a bear or mountain lion or shark. Come on people, get a life and get some compassion and stop being so mean and focus on the life that isnt here anymore.
oh please she only had that dog for show; she did give a sh*t about that pet someone else took care of it FOR jessica and she took it out when it humored her. ugh get over herself alrealdy who gives sh*t.
Yes I feel bad for her but she has enough money to have a leash or if it was taken by her house a fence?????? You wouldn’t leave a child alone if there were kidnappings in the neighborhood. If she loved the dog so much, she should have been watching it. Accidents happen but some common sense plays here.
Jessica, I am so sorry you are having such a hard time.I am a fan and a fellow christian.I know that another puppy won’t replace Daisy. Please don’t go back to John. You find love when you pray and don’t look for it.I love you, your family loves you and most importantly Jesus loves you.
I think its hilarious that she put up a “missing” poster on Twitter and created a website to help find her dog…Like the coyote just wanted to kidnap it and hold it for ransom or something.
No wonder she left you.You are a jerk
A loss of an animal is really hard to deal with. Specially if goes in front of you.I still cant help that my dog is now “gone”I feel so bad for her. R.I.P Daisy.
Specially is not a word!
I’m not one of Jessica’s fans, but lossing a dear pet is terrible. Yes, its only a dog, but dogs are living creatures and know how to show love and affection better than most people. After all, a dog would never stab you in the back.
Boo hoo hoo. Playing the worlds smallest violin on my two fingers right now.
You are such a jerk. i don’t care if you like her or not. can’t you feel some empathy for her. why is it that mean people feel we need to read the comments they write.
I have a dog exactly like Daisy, and believe it or not they’ are the best dogs u can ever have. I hope she can get some closure, its not easy loosing a pet, especially if you’ve had them as long as she did.
I just lost my baby of 19 years in june and i was devestated. Im not a fan of jessica but i know what she is going through. i am glad that i had people that even though to them it was just an animal but repsected me enough to know that she was my child and i was broken hearted.
I WISH I had her problems!!!!!!!
All you negative people suck, your just wish you were as famous as she is. I would kill for my dogs. But not for any of you pieces of s**t who have nothing good to say.
Boo hoo hoo. Playing the worlds smallest violin on my two fingers right now.
youre such a f@#$ jerk!! the lost of a pet is not easy!!
I dont think anyone should get pleasure out of someone else’s loss regardless of what it was or what you think of that person.
I feel really bad for Jessica. I have a small dog and I would die if anything happened to her. Jessica had Daisy the same as I have Tinka, when things go wrong, you pet will always be there for you, when the idiot you have been dating breaks your heart you still have your pet. Jessica, you will make it, just always believe in the love you both gave each other. It will take time but you will always have your memories with Daisy, keep them always in your heart.
i know how it feels to lose a pet/ best friend. when my dog died i had a breakdown. could barely sleep for 2 weeks.
then not long after that my best friends dog was killed by a cayote. and she as well had a extremely hard time getting over it.
it isnt easy getting over the loss of a pet, especially when they are the one you counted on.
I feel sorry for the little dog. I hope she didn’t suffer too much. Unless you’ve had a dog that was very close to you, you wouldn’t have a clue as to how it must feel. Sorry for her loss.
I think its hilarious that she put up a “missing” poster on Twitter and created a website to help find her dog…Like the coyote just wanted to kidnap it and hold it for ransom or something.
Your an idot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How was she careless if she was outside with her? What was she suppose do? I am outside in my back yard all the time with my dogs and would never think of a coyota snatching it. I think it would have been careless if the dog was outside be herself, but I really don’t understand the careless part. Are you suppose to have a leash on your pet in your own back yard? I quit sure when and if she is ever strong to have another dog she will do it differently.
I think its hilarious that she put up a “missing” poster on Twitter and created a website to help find her dog…Like the coyote just wanted to kidnap it and hold it for ransom or something.
Hey you piece of sh*t! If you lose someone or something that was close to you then maybe you will understand and i hope thats when another jack ass like you will say something like what you said. i cant beleive you actually put up that comment! Go f*ck yourself, because i dont know who in the hell would want to sleep with you.
Im so sorry Jess. I understand kinda how you fee. i had two dogs. the smallest one was hit by a car and i had to help clean her remains of her brain on the road. But I still have my pther dog. She’s almost 13 and i have had her since i was 4. Shes been through everything with me and i can even stand the thought of losing her.
its not good to have a dog given to you by your ex husband anyway! her next dog should be her own picked by her.
Shut up! Please!

I agree . I have a puppy myself and if anything ever happened to her I would be devasted. She is my baby. Some people are just ignorant and stupid. Losing a pet is just as bad as losing a child and unless you have never owned one you will never know. Have some compassion for the girl.
I think its hilarious that she put up a “missing” poster on Twitter and created a website to help find her dog…Like the coyote just wanted to kidnap it and hold it for ransom or something.
sorry i meant *can’t* stand the thought of losing her
Some people are downright jerks and have no clue!Losing a pet is as hard as losing a human being. Pets are more than companions, they are family to many people. My 18 year old Lab/Newfoundland dog died in July and it was really devastating for all of us. She was loyal, loving, protective and caring and it’s amazing that she lived such a long life. We considered her part of the family and she will always live in our hearts. No other dog can replace her but sometimes another pet can bring comfort. In our case, we were not looking but such is life and sometimes things just work out in different ways and we took in a mini schnauzer whose previous family couldn’t keep anymore and he is so loving and so cute, he has stolen our hearts. We will always miss our Nikki but we have found a new member for our family: Brady. We are glad to have him in our lives. I feel for Jessica, I know what she is going through.
It’s not like it’s a teddy bear or something. It’s a living, breathing animal. Who cares who gave it to her? She’s an idiot, but I feel for her and that poor little dog.
Shut Up! Why does she have to be an idiot, man you guys are so heartless. What should she have done? gave him the dog back. He bought it for her.
oh please she only had that dog for show; she did give a sh*t about that pet someone else took care of it FOR jessica and she took it out when it humored her. ugh get over herself alrealdy who gives sh*t.
You are so stupid too!
It’s not like it’s a teddy bear or something. It’s a living, breathing animal. Who cares who gave it to her? She’s an idiot, but I feel for her and that poor little dog.
does not matter at all that it was from nick. that is the dumbest comment.
I really feel so bad for Jessica my heart breakes for her. I ‘M A DOG LOVER .MY DOGS ARE NEVER LEFT ALONE.AND WOULD GO NUTS IF ANYTHING HAPPENED TO MY BABIES. THERE LIKE YOUR CHILDREN TIME WILL HEAL IT WILL TAKE A LONG TIME. THOUGH.
All you negative people suck, your just wish you were as famous as she is. I would kill for my dogs. But not for any of you pieces of s**t who have nothing good to say.
i agree with you!!!!
I think its hilarious that she put up a “missing” poster on Twitter and created a website to help find her dog…Like the coyote just wanted to kidnap it and hold it for ransom or something.
Uhhh maybe she thought that maybe just maybe the dog got away. That happened with a dog here in my town.
I would hire some hunters to kill every coyote in the area. there are people who use Dogs to chase coyotes and shoot them. that would be poetic justice. These animal rights fanatics are off the wall with their protect the wolf and protect the coyote hogwash.
Losing a pet because of natural reasons, is hard enough to deal with, but watching her poor dog being snatched away by a coyote has to be truly hearbreaking.
You have to be a animal lover to know how hard it is to lose your pet, under any circumstances as they give unconditional love and devotion.
youre such a f@#$ jerk!! the lost of a pet is not easy!!
It is amazing that your little brain can control two fingers at the same time.
i can’t believe people would make heartless comments regarding this. Like HER or not an animal was still brutally killed and it is still a LOSS to a HUMAN BEING (like her or not). I pray for you heartless souls, I really do…
It’s not easy to lose a pet but on the other hand she is not the first and won’t be the last pet owner to lose an animal. Only difference for us average people it is not plastered on every website and newspaper. Jessica is so desparate for attention.
This is another example of how out of control the predator problem has become. Coyotes are going into the cities and taking cats and dogs in people’s back yards. it is not like being out in the Bob Marshall Wilderness where you are not on the top of the food chain and if a bear gets you that is too bad. there are a lot of coyotes and they need to be controlled. The police in the city of Chicago recently shot and killed a cougar that was a wild one and NOT a pet. there are coyotes in Milwaukee and the mayor tells people to keep your cats inside while they go and hire a sharpshooter to kill Deer in the city parks. Jessica, You have my deepest sympathies.
Why was that dog alone. All fo in S.Ca. know you never let a dog or cat out in Cayote land!!!
I have a multipoo also & he ran off after a female in heat once & ended up going to a house up the street & she had her own dogs & so had to take him to a doggie shelter then saw our sigh up on a pole & called us. I was heartbroken for days until I got him back. He was also my companion when PEOPLE pi$$ed me off or hurt me. When my daddy died, my dog always knew when i needed comforting, even if it was just petting him, it took my mind away from crying constantly about my dad. Pets can do so much for you, they do not judge you, they don’t hold grudges, and even get on your nerves sometimes but they will be your best friend. I feel bad for Jess, especially since it was right in front of her. My heart goes out to you Jess. Be strong, and know time will heal the pain, you will never forget her but will always have memories. & That was pretty cruel of Nick to say what he did, I mean come on, you loved her enough to marry her once Nick, even bought her Daisy, have a little heart for her in this situation. You don’t have to be cruel to be famous, I thought you were nicer than that Nick. My bad!!
Jessica, I’ve been talking to the coyote… he says he won’t return the dog for less than $50,000. Pay up or the ugly dog gets it!
