Just when you think you have Jessica Simpson all figured out, she turns around in her Daisy Dukes and does something that shocks everyone.

Like topping the country music charts with her sixth and latest album, Do You Know.

Us Magazine reports that the countrified collection landed the Number One spot on Billboard's country chart (and fourth in the overall chart), selling 65,000 copies in its first week of release.
 
This, despite less-than-enthusiastic responses from country fans over the summer.

Congratulations, Jessica!  Have yourself a beer or three.

Hopefully her new fans will have a lasting interest in this new phase of her career. So far, Simpson herself has found it barely memorable.
