Jim Carrey, Zooey Deschanel Say 'Yes' to London
Dressed a little more conservatively than usual, Jim Carrey joined Zooey Deschanel at the Vue cinema in London's Leicester Square on Tuesday to attend the premiere of their new comedy Yes Man.
The film, directed by Peyton Reed and based on a book by British author Danny Wallace, is about a person with an inability to say no to anything. (No word on whether the plot is derived from a true story.) Carrey, 46, plays Carl Allen, the doormat in question, while 28-year-old Deschanel portrays his sidekick, Renee Allison.

While promoting the movie in Los Angeles recently, Carrey took time out to reassure the public that he hasn't been affected by the current economic downturn: "I'm not in a recession. I'm doing incredibly well. I just wanna be honest. I really am kicking ass."
Maybe so, but Carrey did get his ass kicked a little while filming Yes Man; the actor broke a rib shooting a scene with Molly Sims.
Sometimes, comedy is no laughing matter.
Yes Man opens on December 18 in America and December 26 in the UK.
