I think all of you criticizing her acting are insane. She has been hand picked by fellow A list actors such as Sean Penn and Mary Stewart Masterson to be in their movies. And she has worked alongside and been respected by many other top actors. I will take their word any day over you pissy losers who are probably just jealous.

Actually I read a interview where JJ said she didn’t hand pick her, but just agreed with her being chosen to play her. And while I like KS (only because of Twilight) I have to agree she could use the pointers. The girl plays the same character in every movie she makes. Where is the “acting” part???

Kristin needs much more then Joan Jett if she wants to improve her acting. That girl sucks.

I have seen cake eaters and speak and she still can’t act. Yes she has been choosen by A listers but that was pre stoned days. she was younger and wasn’t smoking pot or getting drunk. If you notice in all her photo shoots, movies and interviews she makes has the SAME facial expression. It is driving me nuts. She def needs more acting lessons or she can go to rehab and maybe her acting skills might return. She was great in panic room.

All of the people critizing kristen is ridiculous. She is only 19 and she has done amazing for herself. She has done amazing in all her movies…..you people have no right to judge her……are you a critic? Do you know what it takes to be an actor? I think not! Alot of people seem to hate on her just because they wish they were in her shoes during twilight. It is just so sad that people talk horribly about her. I think all her movies have been great. twilight wasn’t that great but I think that had to do alot with the director. Its not always the actors that f*** up a movie. The best actors keep working on their craft no matter how many movies they were in. Just because she’s been cast in films in the past doesn’t mean her acting dont need work. She is cast in films because twirps ,like many that have posted here, know who she is and are loyal (ignorant).

You see, the problem here is not Kristen Stewart. It’s Joan Jett. When you have nostalgic view of yourself, nothing will compare or even come close to what you remember. Non one can fulfill that reemergence of yourself. Because it will be distorted and at age 50, you will idealize your best days of your life. No one can do that. Not even Joan Jett at age 50. The story here makes it sounds like Kristen Stewart couldn’t take a verbal critiscm. Are you kidding me? This girl is pure professional in her acting career and she puts her heart and soul into her roles. She is one of best young actors around and JJ should be considered lucky to even have this girl play herself. This “needling” sounds like someone just gave someone a pep talk or gentle push. Do you know how JJ sounds when she get pissed?? She fu cking goes off to some people and starts to yell at people. She is one tough bi tc h I give you that. So when JJ goes off on you for whole dam week, you will get idea why Kristen Stewart cracked a bit with pressure of paps on you daily and JJ cussing you out. Get a clue people.

i doubt any of this is true. i mean, we’ve all seen and heard about kristen and joan’s close relationship, and how they spent a lot of time together [reportedly even on new years day]. i seriously question the validity of this article.
and as for speculation as to kristen’s work schedule, i feel a bit of sympathy for her. she’s 19, working on several movie productions at one time, and dealing with the hounding paparazzi and everything that comes along with that all at the same time. she certainly has a full plate.

Didn’t princess bobby say he thought Kristen is the best actress of her generation? How good can she be if JJ has to make her cry to get her to do her job, you know actually act for once.

i have a question about this “wheres Rob to protect Kristen”. Did Kristen needed Robert before? in fact, did Kristen knew Robert before? you know what, they should be together because if it dind’t work out and end up badly the fans would be devasted and they would’t work together anymore, resulting in NO eclipse or Breaking Down shooting… lol, that would be nice would’t? so keep saying that they are together. i hope they’re not. Amen!!!! It was too painful to watch Kristen in Twilight, especially the lab scene when she puts her hand up to her face when asked about the weather. I was embaressed for her. The girl is a horrible actress. And why she was asked to play JJ is beyond me.

Joan Jett is lucky???? Are you serious???? If it weren’t for Joan’s life, Kristen wouldnt be getting this kind of press, other than for the Twilight movies. She’s acting out someone’s life, not an easy task, which is why they should of found another more capable actress.

Seriously, name me another actor that can play Joan Jett?? Name me an actor that has acting chops, plays/sings her own music, and has the right look of JJ. Name me one please. You can’t. Vanessa Hugdens?? Evan Rachel Woods?? Kat Dennings?? No one fits the role except for Kristen Stewart. Kristen is more than capable actress but the problem lies with the pre-production times and the time constraint. Kristen had only 2 weeks to prepare for this role. 2 WEEKS!!! That is not heck of time to prepare for something challenging as this. Kristen had 2 months to prepare for Twilight and to have 2 weeks for this role, it’s most difficult challenge she ever had. She also doesn’t need more press. Kristen is already well respected in the industry and Joan Jett is lucky to have her to play her in this biopic. Kristen will bring in more fans of this generation that doesn’t know who is JJ is.
