Joan Rivers, everyone gets it. You're hooked on plastic surgery. But face it, hon, you're starting to look like the Joker.

And not the charming, campy Joker from DC Comics' Golden Age. More like Heath Ledger's hack-faced, twisted take on the Dark Knight villain.

Joan's in London doing her play A Work in Progress by a Life in Progress in the West End.

The 73-year-old comic repeatedly pokes fun at her face-altering habit in interviews and during her on-stage routine: "My motto is 'better a new face coming out of an old car than an old face coming out of a new car,'" she tells the Daily Mail.  "Spend your money on you."

Frightening appearances aside, it seems many in Hollywood have taken Rivers' advice to heart.

Preach on, Saint Joan, and your disciples will follow.
