Joel Madden Isn't in a Hurry to Marry Nicole Richie
Despite his prank earlier this month, Joel Madden tells People that he has no plans to marry Nicole Richie any time soon. Madden and Richie have a daughter, Harlow, together, but he is just fine with things as they are. Besides, you know how stray women are about wedding bands, and that can only invite trouble.
"We're just happy, and we're being a family, and that's where we're at right now," says Madden. "But marriage means something different to everyone."
Madden is focusing on enjoying fatherhood. There's no need to make an honest woman out of his babymama.
"It's crazy," he says of Harlow. "Every day she does something new. When she reaches for me, it's awesome! Just watching her grow, it melts me!"
Guess focusing on Harlow allows Joel to disregard Nicole's icy stares over the lack of a ring on her finger.
Commitment is a bitch. so is Nicole Richie . .. so by the transitive property .... bitch is a bitch? yes, yes it/she is.

If i were her i'd be pissed
no matter what, they have a kid together. so even if he wants to run later, he can't go that far. and besides, it sounds like he loves his daughter too much to dump Nicole.
