Singer and fame chaser John Mayer may be regretting his split with Jennifer Aniston.

Though he has occasionally hidden his mug from the cameras, Mayer is one of a handful of celebrities who actually encourages the attention of the paparazzi.

In fact, Mayer may have been more in love with seeing his pictures in the gossip-sphere than he ever was with Aniston in the first place.

But, according to MSNBC, there will be a lot less of John in the media for John to enjoy. 

Their source gives a lesson in Mayer economics: "Pictures of him and Jen were selling for $20,000 at one point. A picture of him alone gets $200 now."

The "Your Body Is a Wonderland" crooner must have some new victim love lined up to put him back into camera range.
