John Mayer: Marine for a Day?

John Mayer dealt with his breakup with Jennifer Aniston by enlisting in the Marines.
Ok, not really. But OK! reports that he did indeed spend at day with the Marines at Air Station New River and Camp Lejeune in Jacksonville, N.C.
“Believe me when I say that the day was life-changing,” John said about his visit.
Lanky womanizer Mayer spent the day on the gun range, observed hand-to-hand combat and visited wounded veterans of the war in Iraq.
“It was an awesome day,” Staff Sgt. Angela Mink said. “I think John would make a good marine — but I wouldn’t want him to give up the blues guitar!”
Trust us, Sgt. Mink, you don’t want to get with that dude. Just ask Aniston.
