Jennifer Aniston is used to dropping her pets off at her assistant’s house; now she’s got one less dog to lug back and forth.

A mutual John Mayer-Jen Aniston pal confirms to Us that the pair has veered toward splitsville.

“It’s not this big, dramatic breakup. These are mature people who talk about things maturely.”

Well, John might be all mature with Jen, but things are frisky and playful with him and some of the fine young ladies of the music biz.

The pal adds, “He has a lot going on.”

Ain’t that the truth. Those lunch dates with Pete Wentz can eat up a whole afternoon.
