John Mayer’s New Single: “Who Says”

Man, we almost forgot that John Mayer was a singer!

The Twitter fanatic and ex-boyfriend to many a celeb has finally released a new single from his upcoming album Battle Studies—his first since 2007!

“Who Says” is more folky and different than other songs we’ve heard him sing in the past. And, despite the first line in the song, “Who says I can’t get stoned?,” he says it’s not about weed!

John tells Rolling Stone,

“When I sing it, I do not think about marijuana — I think about walking around your house naked with a guitar. It’s about being in control of the pleasure in your life.”
