John McCain Likes Heidi Montag Okay

Yesterday John McCain's campaign debuted an ad comparing Democratic opponent Barack Obama to Britney Spears and Paris Hilton and questioning his ability to lead.

The McCain-approved message indicates that the senator from Arizona believes that celebrities hold no place in the political process. But John McCain is a complicated man.

The GOP candidate eagerly accepted Hills star Heidi Montag's endorsement earlier this year, gushing to Time, "I'm honored to have Heidi's support and I want to assure her that I never miss an episode of The Hills, especially since the new season started."

Moreover, Montag has been hanging out with McCain's daughter Meghan in Los Angeles lately.

Video of Heidi and Meghan enjoying lunch at Santa Monica eatery Ivy at the Shore is available for viewing at Pacific Coast News Online.

It might be worth noting that Montag, for her vociferous support of Meghan's dad, hadn't registered to vote.

Then again, come on; does anybody really believe that McCain watches The Hills?

John McCain is just hating because Scarlett Johansson never emailed him. Heidi would, but she can't figure out how to put the envelope through the computer.

By the way, Heidi Montag looks just like a girl I broke up with because every time I said anything to her when she had her mouth open, an echo would come back to me.
