Johnny Depp has reportedly agreed to tour with British band Babybird as their guitarist during June and July.

At first, the group were put off by the idea of Johnny playing guitarist for them since they didn’t want to deal with crazy girl fans (uh, and these guys say that they are in a rock band?) but they have since hired two former members of the special armed forces to act as security.

With the extra security help, Babybird thinks that they can keep the swarms of Johnny-obsessed women at bay.

Johnny will be accompanying the band as they play summer festivals and gigs. Seems like a step down from being an international movie star, but seeing as so many actors have rock bands, we guess even A-list celebrities dream of being rock gods.
