Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Colin Farrell may be playing a man with a shady past in the upcoming fantasy flick The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, but the three actors are doing something upstanding with their fees from the film.

British newspaper the Telegraph reports that Depp, Law and Farrell—who are taking over deceased actor Heath Ledger's role as mysterious stranger Tony in the film—are donating their salaries to Ledger's two-year-old daughter, Matilda Rose.

The paper reports that the three are concerned about Matilda's future, because Ledger left an outdated will that did not include his daughter.

Way to go, guys! May your selfless examples serve as inspiration to the less-giving souls in show-biz today.

    Wow, that's pretty kind of them, even though they're all millionaires many times over and can well afford to do this.
