With his new gangster epic Public Enemies about to explode on the nation's movie screens with a hail of gunfire, Johnny Depp publicly expresses his admiration for his character in the movie, real-life bank robber John Dillinger, in the latest issue of Parade magazine.

Johnny Depp looks great in a fedora as bank-robbing legend John Dillinger in Public Enemies.Dillinger may have been at the top of the "Most Wanted" list, but he became a folk hero by staying one step ahead of the G-Men on his trail. As Parade.com's Jeanne Wolf found, Depp doesn't hide his own admiration for the famous crook.
