Jon Gosselin to Get His Own Reality Show?

E! Online reports that Jon & Kate Plus 8 dad Jon Gosselin, who’s really been getting around lately, is looking to expand his brand and is even looking to land his own spinoff reality show.
“Jon has a lot of things going on now with his career,” says a source close to Gosselin. “Of course his main concern is his children, but he is focusing on his private and his professional life. He is looking into some major international endorsement deals and it looks like he is going to have his own show.”
Pleasepleaseplease let this be a dating show a la Rock of Love. The possibilities are endless…

I personally think he is nothing but a disrespectful piece of crap who needs to quit thinking about who he is going to lay next and start thinking of the eight children he brought into this world. He needs to remember he is setting an example to his boys about how to be a man and to his girls for the type of man they should be looking for. Does he really want his boys to grow up to be adulters? And does he want his daughters to end up with one because he is a no good, cheating man? I won’t even call him a father because he has no morals, he isn’t fathering his children. He is playing house with other people’s children at the moment.
career? What the hell does he even do? Ugh he’s getting on my nerves! The only reason why he wants his own reality show (which will suck BIG TIME!) is because he wants the money…he’s not even interesting.
If he wants to do his own show, WITHOUT his kids I say go for it. At least he won’t be exploiting his kids any more.
I seem to remember his being quoted as saying that he hated being in the spotlight. Am I crazy, or does anyone else remember this, too?

he has children, but everything he is doing is selfish and immature. what sort of example does he want to be for his children. Kate may have been a control freak, but EVERYTHING she ever did or does is obviously for her children. she has never seperated herself from them without reason.
Jon seems to be running away from the kids. suck it up dude you need to re-examine your priorities and start taking your kids into consideration. you are not a young guy with no responsibilities anymore.

You know, the whole time people were trashing Kate but not him! He was the poor guy who was stuck with his bitch wife! The whole time people felt bad for him Now we see the real person and I hope that ***hole does not get his show. I think he was a jerk the whole time but he just played his cards well on screen. You just turn a jerk like that, he was but nobody saw it! I think I understand now why Kate treated him like this….he deserved it! And you know, anybody hanging out with any of the Lohan family is obviously an ***hole!
I propose a name for his so called reality show ” Tool Time” with apologies to Tim Allen. Cuz this guy is certainly a tool!

I agree 100%. Kate is/was annoying; but he has gone the route of being totally rediculous. If their relationship needed a break, and room for repair, it surely can’t be repaired now. It was never really confirmed that Kate had more than a work relationship with the body guard, but he stopped showing up in the later pictures. Maybe nothing really happened there and he got out of there mess to keep his own family sane. Jon does talk about his concern for his kids, but his actions don’t reflect that.

its all a midlife crisis….one day he will wake up and be like what the hell have I done to myself? if he is not interested in his kids anymore then fine Kate is an awesome mother, but Its the kid i worry about. one day he will be apologizing to his kids for all that he has done. Shame on him, and if a reality shows what he wants oh well, him and all of his ladys are enough people to keep it on air. LUV U KATE + 8!!
I am ashamed of Jon and his immature attempts to make himself look like a stud. He is far from a stud. Personally I don’t see what a looker like Kate ever seen in him in the first place!! I would NEVER tune in to watch him in any type of show he might get. I will however keep watching Kate stay home and keep being a good Mom and a decent person. I always did think he was just another CHILD she had to care for. When people say she is exploiting her kids by staying on the show, how do they think she will ever make enough money to raise 8 kids if she quits this job? Jon doesn’t even HAVE a job nor does he seem concerned at how he might pay child support in the future or even now. His money is going on smoking, biking, dating young girls with nasty reputations, and drinking… I pray for Kate and the kids and hope her show will continue as I love it and have always thought if she didn’t ask or tell him to help her, he would never have done a thing for her or the kids. He’s lazy and has a sense of entitlement which apparently makes him think he is God’s gift to young girls!!! I doubt these are his first affairs with other girls! He was resentful of anything he had to do for the kids and it showed. You go Kate… Keep up the good work. You have my support and prayers!
Wow, everyone dissing on Jon. Look, it’s all about the money. Someone posted above how is he gonna pay child support, well maybe he’s doing this for exactly that reason…but speaking of child support, I don’ tthink that will even be an issue for this family. there’s a lot of money coming in right now with the show (which he is still a part of) and the books. Jon did work and had a full time job, but when the show got so big he quit so he could stay home with the kids. Give the guy his props. I think somewhere down the line, he got jealous of Kate going here and there, going to book signings and traveling while he stayed home. I don’t feel sorry for him and I am not defending what he has done in the past, but it could not have been easy always being #2.
