Earlier, we showed you pictures of Jon and Kate Gosselin's Fourth Of July celebration with their eight children from this past weekend.
At their party, a witness told Life & Style that Jon lit sparklers, rockets, cherry bombs and firecrackers from his front lawn in broad daylight, right in front of his children and the lurking paparazzi. In flagrant violation of local statutes.
"Things got so loud that one ka-boom in particular sent all the kids scurrying back to the house," the source said. Kate then yelled out, "Jon, I think that's illegal in Pennsylvania!"
Thomas Deiterich of the Lower Heidelberg, Pennsylvania, police department told the magazine, "Fireworks are illegal for personal home use in the state of Pennsylvania." However, the law is usually not enforced.
Oh, man. Drinking, alleged cheating, and now this. What's he gonna do next?

People need to leave this poor guy alone!
He needs to leave the cheeseburgers alone.
Yeah... they do enforce those laws in PA... I would know
he was lighting fireworks for entertainment. big deal.
...Seriously...this is a story?...ya'll are stretching...real bad..i gave some sparklers to a few little kids..arrest me..
OMG, alert the media, oh nevermind.........who cares!
This is a complete non-story. I really believe that the media is happy about the misfortune of Jon and Kate. While I'm no fan of their show (or any reality show), it would seem that no one is thinking about the effects all of this non-stop coverage will have on those children when they reach the age where they can read and use the internet. I agree with Stella, leave the guy alone and let him and his wife try to take care of their children in the midst of a divorce. It is hard enough without the media spotlight.
This is NOT a story anymore. How GOOLSIH are people to ant to watch this family disintegrate before their very eyes!
What J&K+8 REALLY need are prayers from their fans and to be left alone to get their marriage back on the right track .AMEN!!
yea....just like he broke the law when riding his Free motorcycle illegally without a helmet in front of photogs, too!!
(PA requires a license to ride w/out a helmet -- don't think Jon had one)
