Jon Gosselin Says He Despises Kate
Ooh, things are getting even uglier in the ongoing Jon and Kate Gosselin drama!
Jon & Kate Plus 8 patriarch Jon Gosselin lashes out at his ex in his Good Morning America interview with Chris Cuomo, and judging from the excerpts presented by E! Online he’s clearly done with holding back his emotions.
“I can’t sit on a sofa with that woman. I can’t sit with someone right now that I despise—I despise because she’s not speaking from the heart,” says Gosselin, who claims that he was “verbally abused” and “beaten down” by his estranged wife.
Gosselin also discusses his party-boy lifestyle, claiming that he was making up for lost time.
“I had twins at 23. I had sextuplets at 27. Bye-bye, twenties,” says Gosselin. “In 10 years, I’ve never gone out…When she said, ‘I don’t want you going out,’ I…I used to say, ‘OK, I’m not going to go out.’ I was very passive. This is the first time I said, ‘You know what? I want to see my friends. I’m going out.’…I just felt like I had to take back some time in my life, and I did it. And I felt really good. I made my own decision…I was beaten down for so long, I couldn’t even make my own decision. And when I did, I was like, holy cow! You know? Yeah, what’s she gonna do? Divorce me? All right. Obviously. You know.”
Yeah, Jon, we know.

Its not like these children were accidents and unplanned. Both sets of children were very much planned!! So why is he whining NOW about the fact he had kids so early??!! If you werent ready back then, then you shouldnt have done it. Grow up!

Jon reminds me of a spoiled brat. Yes, Kate took control of probably everything, but he himself says he was passive. To me this says that someone had to quickly become the adult, and Kate took charge. Someone had to, and bless her for doing so!

He needs to grow up…He is not as involved as Kate is in parenting..He a kid that needs to grow up and take responsibilies for raising his kids..I understand that being married and having all those children is difficult. I always say him as not that involved and Kate had to push him to do the things a father needed to do..He wasn’t a team…I don’t think that he is ready to give up his youth to be a husband to Kate or a father for his children…He just wanted out….It was too much for him to handle…I feel bad for Kate….she’s a tough cookie and I guess she was growing fed up with him..she showed it with those little slap here and there..

You are absolutely right on point….he was very passive and let her do all the work…I would slap him here and there too…
What a loser- he is mad at Kate because his reputation sucks. He is also mad because he is broke. In less than a couple of month- he has blown thosands of dollars of clothes, partying and his whorish girlfriends. Now he is not only complaining about being broke, but has been calling Kate a lair. But the tons pictures of him out shopping at high end clothing stores, partying like he is 21 and drunk off his ass doesn’t lie.
I love how everyone here used to be so anti-Kate when they first got separated and then Jon goes and rocks a few Ed Hardy t-shirts while banging 22 year old cokeheads and apparently HE is the bad guy?
Pfff. Dude is a saint for putting up with that women for as long as he did. He should be given a gold medal.
He had sextuplets at 27?? They came out of HIS vagina?? And if this guy tells the world anymore about “doing it for the kids”, I’ll puke. He could barely show up for his kids 5th birthday and then bitched that he had to go and pick up the cake all by himself. He can’t even watch his own kids without hiring a babysitter to watch him…
And Jon is really classy to start a rumor about his wife having an affair–HE’S the one who can’t keep it in his pants!
I bet his children are really proud of him when he moans about having to take care of them. Jon Gosselin is making Michael Lohan look like father of the year!
I think its unfair and selfish to feel like he was the only one to loose out on something, because those ten years of taking care of their young children, kate wasn’t going out either. And im sure was doing everything if not more then Jon to care for her children. At the same time, I think Jon shouldnt have held in his need for freedom, to see his friends, and break-free from the daddy role, because in the long run it all just piled up and was the separating reason for the divorce.
He really needs to grow up…. but I can see how he might have gotten roped into this without really wanting it. Sometimes women give ultimatums about kids, etc… and the husbands give in because they think because they are married they are SUPPOSED to. Having kids isn’t right for everyone, and most guys aren’t the ones interested in having them. They love them once they are here, but almost never want them unless they’re old guys, like 35+ ;o)
