Jon Gosselin Says, "Hey, Don't Blame Me"

Jon Gosselin is tired of taking all the blame for his failed marriage, and he's not gonna take it anymore!

The Jon & Kate Plus 8 dad and Ed Hardy-clad playboy has taken to the pages of In Touch Weekly to clear the air about his dissolved union with ex-wife Kate Gosselin, saying essentially that Kate started the whole thing, so get off his back already.

"Many people think that everything moved too fast, that I was out partying too quickly. But Kate gave up on the marriage last October, and the divorce will be finalized by September 30,” Gosselin reveals.

Says Gosselin, "Let’s go back to October of last year—that’s when all of this happened. Kate basically came to me out of the blue and said, 'I am done. You are going to live your life, and I am going to live my life.' I was like, “What?” I didn’t really know what was going on. When she said that, I was really upset and nervous."

Furthermore, Jon—who suggests that Kate ended the relationship because "she wanted a career"—notes that he made efforts to patch things up with his sharp-coiffed spouse, only to be rebuffed.

"I asked, 'What do I have to do to mend the relationship? What did I do wrong?' I was beating myself up about it," Gosselin recalls. "So I read a lot of books about personalities, like The Five Love Languages. Throughout the marriage, I felt like my personality had changed a lot. In December, I went to therapy. I asked Kate to come, but she didn’t want to. She said, 'If you have a problem, go fix it.'"

Wow, how supportive of her! But don't feel too bad for Gosselin. He has, after all, found new, true love with confirmed party girl Hailey Glassman—who, he says, gives him a considerably longer leash than his previous companion.

"If I want to go out with my friends, Hailey says, 'Oh, go out.' I’m not used to that," Gosselin says. "I was used to, 'No, no, it’s your fault.' Sometimes I ask Hailey permission, like I used to do with Kate, and she says, 'You don’t have to ask permission.' I was used to living like that, and now it’s like a breath of fresh air. You can have a balanced relationship but also spend time with your friends."

Totally. Even if those friends include a former tabloid reporter that you're also rumored to be dating.

IT TAKES TWO BUT HE WAS THE ONE THAT CHEATED 1ST AND THEN HE SAY HE DIDNT DO ANYTHING WRONG AND THEN THE NEXT DAY HE WAS WITH THE NEW GIRL BUT HE SAYED HE NEVER CHEATED ON HER AT ALL I KNOW IS NOT A GOOD GIRL.BUT WHAT WOMEN ISNT BUT JOHN IS ALL OVER THE PLACE WITH THIS WOMEN AND SHE THINKS HE IS A GOOD GUY JOHN ALWAYS PUTS HIS FOOT IN IS MOUTH AND JOHN WERE NOT LISTENING

Jon is just doing this interview to cover his ass in divorce court DUH. He is worried that he will lose custody of his kids because Kate is the stable parent in the relationship and he has been the one out partying and getting on different girls while Kate is at home and being the mature parent and realizes she has the responsibility of 8 children. Jon is a huge doucebag.......

Yeah, a last ditch effort to make this douc*e sounds like he is not to blame too. How gallant of you to go US weekly and blame everything on your wife. And sites like this will believe it. I wonder how many almost divorced men would say the same thing. Are you the news outlets that stupid? Nice. This dude gets douchyer by the day.

I used to love watching their show Jon & Kate Plus 8, but now since Jon's recent actions he makes me sick to even watch him on tv. I wish the show could ditch him and it be all about Kate striving and thriving as a single parent of 8 children. It could be called Kate & her 8......!

Jon is a PIG!!!! and Poor Kate and there beautiful children are left dealing with all the hurt and pain because their so call Dad doesnt want to deal with being a full time Father and a real Man of a Husband anymore because he had what you would call MID Life crisis!!!! he hasnt even hit 35 and life is all so hard... Looser!! All just because he has decided he wants to go out and party it up and hang out with Little tramps young enough to be his 8 kids babysitters!!!! Jon needs to grow up and remember why he and Kate fell in love and had there 8 beautiful children in the first place... trying to pass the blame just makes you Jon Gosslin look like more of a PIG!!!!
