Jon & Kate Plus 8 Plus an Investigation?
Everyone knew this one was coming.
After weeks of speculation about the state of their family and marriage, Jon and Kate Gosselin are facing a new battle.
TMZ is reporting that the Pennsylvania Department of Labor is investigating whether the Gosselin’s hit reality show, Jon & Kate Plus 8, is complying with child labor laws following a complaint.
A TLC rep states, “TLC fully complies with all applicable laws and regulations. Jon & Kate Plus 8 is no exception. For an extended period of time, we have been engaged in cooperative discussions and supplied all requested information to the Pennsylvania Department of Labor. We will continue to engage the appropriate officials and meet any standards or regulations that are applicable to TLC productions.”
As if the kids didn’t have to deal with enough already…
i really don’t think those kids are being worked to much, there just video taped, but they shouldn’t have to be followed by papparazi or be left with “nannies” all the time instead of their parents. i really don’t know what goes on behind closed doors but its doesn’t seemm to be the same show anymore what so ever
What starts out to be something to educate people turns into something else like a money maker.
The children do not seem to be having such a hard time of it . the gosslins are living the american dream, they just can’t seem to grasp it yet!
