Jonas Brothers Weigh In on Russell Brand's Jibes

Never count on a Jonas to hold a grudge.

While in the U.K. to do a round of interviews promoting Disney Channel flick Camp Rock, the Jonas Brothers spoke about the ribbing Brit comedian Russell Brand gave them over their purity rings while hosting Sunday's VMAs ceremony.

"For us it's cool to see that he recognizes we are gentleman," Nick Jonas said in one interview, notes the BBC.

Brand repeatedly goofed on the bros for being virgins during his monologues, but Kevin Jonas stuck it right back to him: "I think he focused on certain things and didn't move off of them. People's attention spans in America need more than that."

But lest you think there will be any hair wars between crazy-weaved Russell and the curly Jonas clan, diplomatic Nick added, "I think he did a good job. We saw him on Conan O'Brien and thought he was hilarious."

Besides, there are already enough battles going on in the land of Disney to occupy this trio's time.

Listen, if those boys don't have sex soon, they'll be virgins until they're at least 40! Just ask my friend Andy Stitzer. He was an okay looking guy, but somehow didn't manage to have sex and then all of the sudden his 40th birthday was looming and he was like, 'aaahh i gotta have sex." so we took him first to get his chest waxed so he wouldn't scare away chicks and then we took him out to a bar and tried to get him to hook up with some drunk ho, but she ended up vomiting on him in the car and he almost wrecked it! Then there was this hot chick at this book store, but he still wouldn't hit that! Finally he found some lady that was more his age - she worked at this e-bay store, and they fell in love and then got married and then finally he lost his virginity.

I think it is great that the Jonas Brothers are sticking to their morals even though they are smack in the middle of the Hollywood life. Also, they have the balls to stand up for their beliefs instead of trying to act like they are something different. You must really feel bad about yourself if you have to make fun of them for that.

So what if they plan on waiting until marriage....at least they won't be like the rest of these playboys out there banging every girl they can meet up with...be proud gentlemen...at least you won't have any STDs at your age like the majority of teens do now-a-days and it shows you value women and your beliefs...plus they reveal you have respect for them and yourself...as they say: In order to earn respect, you have to show respect...you have earned my respect gentlemen also, I think I just might do the same thing and get a purity ring since I haven't had sex as well...i don't want to sleep with just anybody...I want to sleep with someone I know will be by my side every morning and not climbing out my window...
