Josh Brolin has a lot of respect for his dad James Brolin's good looks. Perhaps too much.

Page Six quotes the actor admitting to W magazine: "My dad is probably one of the handsomest guys ever. I was making a joke and I said, 'If I was a chick, I'd [bleep] you.'"

Does that mean if he were any chick he would do his dad, or just if he were his stepmother, songstress and Yentl actress Barbra Streisand? It's hard to tell; alas, "boundaries" has never been the watchword of show-biz families.

Wonder what Josh's wife Diane Lane thinks of her hubby's latest press gaffe? Last time Brolin made headlines it was for getting in a bar fight that landed him the slammer.

Admitting a jonesing for your Dad is way less embarrasing than jail. Maybe the actor's turn in Oliver Stone's upcoming George W. Bush biopic, W, will give him something that he can actually brag about.
