Katherine Jackson, mother of deceased pop legend Michael Jackson, was delivered a blow in court today, when a judge ruled that John Branca and John McClain would remain co-executors in of Jackson's will.

Attorneys for the elder Jackson had made an attempt to put her in control of the will, arguing that there were conflicts of interest involved with Branca and McClain.

The judge instead opted to leave the two lawyers named as co-executors in Michael's will, John Branca and John McClain, in charge until at least Aug. 3.

No members of Michael's family were present in the courtroom this morning as Judge Mitchell Beckloff heard arguments from both sides.
