How Justin Bieber’s Mom Protects His, Um, Purity
Sorry, lusty Justin Bieber fans: It turns out that the 16-year-old pop star’s mom is making sure that none of you get your hormone-raging hands on her son.
In a recent interview with Vibe the “Baby” singer opens up about his home life and how his mother Pattie Mallette deals with Bieber’s groupies. Pattie previously stated that Justin pledged to remain a virgin, but put a 16 year old around countless screaming admirers, and hormones may win.
When asked about the craziest thing groupies (if you can really call them that) had done for him, Justin hints that his mom works hard to keep them away:
My mom has me on a tight leash and [she's] being real protective. The girls show up wearing nothing. I can’t lie, I’m 16, I don’t hate it. I don’t have a girlfriend.
Well, what red-blooded teenage boy wouldn’t love nearly-naked girls showing up to his dressing room door? Pattie, who is a strict Christian, really has her work cut out for her.
Later in the interview, Justin admits that his mom doesn’t let him run free now that he is an international pop superstar:
My mom is still my mom. She could care less if I’m an international superstar. I still have to clean my room on the tour bus. She takes my computer at 12 [a.m.] so I can sleep. I don’t have a bedtime [but] she doesn’t want me on the computer because she doesn’t want it to rot my brain.
Just remember, ladies: If you want to meet Justin backstage, bring your clothes.
Do you think it is good that Justin’s mom controls his groupies? Let us know what you think in the comments below.

whoa..dey show up naked @ his door,..dats madness.its nt normal..
i think its great that we may actually have someone that isnt shoving sex down our kids throats. my daughter is 11 and she loves justin bieber, maybe his behavior will let her know that having sex at too young of an age isnt needed. i applaud justin and his mother for being real.

Having sex doesn’t mean that somebody isn’t real…
Sex is the most normal thing on earth and you should explain that to your daughter.
Justin Bieber is just selling sex to kids, just like Jonas Brothers did.
But now, nobody knows who they are.
In a year or 2 there’s going to be another Justin Bieber..
AGREE WITH ANNA. reproduction is normal. get over yourself, christians.
its all bullsh*t.. as if he remains a virgin until the marriage.. I am completely not a fan.. but this is bull.. I mean I want to remain a virgin, too but I am not christian and I mean it.. its not like justin who said this to remain a pure image witch is full of completely bullsh*t.. and also he is 16 if there is a girl being naked in front of his eyes he can´t deny he would maybe fall for her.. that´s REAL LIFE.. witch sucks but its true & normal nowadays
AGREE WITH ANNA. reproduction is normal. get over yourself, christians.
u and anna should leave christian people alone if its there ways than leave it be i mean u dont have to be so mean and parents might wanna protect their kids thats fine
im still a kid and my mom is wayyyy strict like that and im ok with it and im not christian and i made a promise to stay pure until marriage
AGREE WITH ANNA. reproduction is normal. get over yourself, christians.
ok first of all, Chrisitanity doesn’t say sex isn’t “normal” I would go in further but you’re such an ignorant piece of crap that I won’t. It only says it should be saved to marriage, and in Judaism and Islam sex before marriage is also banned. Maybe you should take a look around the world because in some countries girls are mutilated to keep the virginity, and in some other parts girls are DISOWNED by their families because of losing their virginity, they don’t even have to be pregnant. We’re lucky to be living here were some girls don’t have to fear about that, and the Bible teaches forgiveness. There is nothing wrong with teaching a girl to be modest and that there’s more to her than just putting out, so you shouldn’t criticize someone for being happy about this. I mean I don’t really care what the Bieber kid does with his virginity, I’m not even sure he’s capable of reproducing yet, but I was not happy that you let your ignorant fingers type things about religion. Go pick up a religious text THEN make your comments about it idiot.

You’re a Christian?
Good for you. Nobody cares. When he talks about ”not having sex before marriage” , just like Jonas Brothers did,THAT PURE SELLING SEX TO KIDS.
American parents are just to stupid to realize that.
And I don’t believe in God.

you people are rediculous, it doesnt matter what the kid said in an interview, all that matters is that he has an oppinion and it doesnt mean that you have to agree with it. he is a good kid so stop complaining and maybe worry about your own oppinions for a change people.

I agree with the Justin Bieber part but 4 the rest… YOU SUCK!!!
i’m a christian and i believe that having sex before marriage is fine. although i wouldn’t encourage kids around sixteen to do it that early. but once he’s around eighteen or nineteen, or even somewhere in his twenties, unmarried, with a nice girl, and they have protected sex, it shouldn’t be a big deal.
I honestly think all of you are sadly LOST. Don’t mention ANYTHING about the Holy Bible if you don’t know WHAT you are talking about. If he is a virgin, he is making that personal choice. And it is very right in GODS eyes. ANd for those who dont believe, then get yourself together. there is a GOD and he is very holy and SO good to us. But i was saying that is HIS choice, if you go around screwing everyone, thats your choice to get STD’s and AIDS.Morally, it is right to wait to have sexual relations, when your married. Not in ANYWAY,is he selling sex, nor did the Jonas brothers. That is one concept i don’t get. He has good morals so leave him ALONNE(: I rest my casee..

Hun,you have BAD morals, because NO WHERE in the Bible does it say that it is EVER okay to have sex before marriage. It doesnt matter what age, who it is with or anything, It is WRONG!
there is a big difference between thinking that sex is a natural thing and thinking that it’s ok to just sleep around at any age. there is also a big difference between thinking that it’s innapropriate for a 16 year old to have sex with anyone and thinking that people shoud not have sex before they’re married.
you guys are so extreme!
It doesn’t matter what he does or what he doesn’t do.. Thats all up to him so people need to stay out of his private life.. He might be keeping himself, who knows besides his close friends and family? no body.
i think if his mother thinks that he should be virgin til marry or til he is older its ok.. it has nothing to do with being christian or not its about choice.. i choose remain virgin or not.. have sex is normal.. but in a moment when you have clear what it is, and the eventual consequences… but that about get naked out of his door.. that’s nasty… but good for Justin’s mom.

Who are YOU to tell someone they have “bad morals”. First of all, I agree with Brittany with everything she said. Everyone has there OWN opinion. Okay the Bible says it, but not everyone believe’s in it. You should definitely remeber that. Also saving yourself til marriage has nothing to do with religion, it’s a choice.
Sigh, Americans…Yeah I know, I’m a condencending european, but seriously, WHAT an impression some of you people make, bloody hell… I don’t believe in any god, but honestly, IF he exists, do you really think that he would give a sh*t about when or who or why we have sex or not? WHY should he care, as long as we’re not hurting ourselves or anyone else in any way? It’s just us humans obsessed with defining what’s normal and right and what’s not, and the generally idea is that oneself is right so anyone different from yourselves must be wrong, and they use god as an argument. I seriously don’t f*cking get some parents’ (a lot of american it seems) self-proclaimed right to decide over their kids sexuality/sex life, NO ONE should decide over your own sex life but YOU. I don’t think it’s good to do it too early, but “too early” is defined by when a person feels READY for it, parents do ofc need to guide their children, but the children need to decide stuff like this for themselves. I respect religious people, my own father is a (protestant) priest and I don’t have any problems with his faith, nor he with the lack of mine, but I hate it when people insist on mixing religion with sexuality or anything else where it really shouldn’t mean sh*t…If you want to save yourself for marriage, go ahead, do what feels right for you, but don’t go around telling people that you’re MORE morally correct than them for doing so, we’re all different. And in case you wonder, I got my first bf at 17, made love with him at 18, he was my first and only, we still love eachother, and I will never be with anyone else, and we want to share our lives together, and I don’t feel the slightest guilt to have done it before marriage. WHY should I, love is beautiful. In conclusion, Justin Bieber should decide for himself, and make sure his decisions are well thought through:P
Mom has a right to push her Christian Views on her Kid!!!
@juliemango: I hope you’re being sarcastic…O__o

That is out of line. You have no right to tell someone they have bad morals. By the way, you do realize the Bible also talks about not judging people?

I’ll get over myself if you go F**k yourself.. how bout that nit wit.

what i actaully like about u atheist that u dont believe in a religion and so u dont hav to break its rules .. but i hav one question if something seem seems wrong to one person and seems right to another .. then killing and stealing can be allowed .. if u think about it if people didnt hav sex before marrige alot of problems will be solved .. eg. teenage pregnancy, aids, broken hearts etc … people can get married and then go their separate ways if they are not comfortable… just like what happens in any relationship

If you read again what the person to which you responded to wrote, you would find your answer.
“as long as we’re not hurting ourselves or anyone else in any way”
I’m an atheist and you’re logic of what rules we follow was…rather strange. So you think if an atheist thinks it’s okay to kill someone we would do it,regardless of the law.No atheist thinks that way, unless he/she is mentally unstable.
I don’t think forbidding a child not to have sex before marriage is ridiculous. What would solve problems like teenage pregnancy and aids is if every parent gave their children condoms. Many of the kids I know(which are around 15/16) have been given condoms by their parents.

Ok my mother told me I can’t have sex until I’m 18, and we’re Christians. I don’t have a purity ring. But some who believe in stuff such as not having sex until marriage then that’s them. And sex is totally normal, no one said it wasn’t. And it’s not like he’s NEVER going to have sex, he’s going to wait until he get’s married. And besides he’s a 16 year old superstar that girls and boys his age and under idolize, he most definately doesn’t need to worry about sex. And talking to you’re child about sex is good and healthy to prepare them for safe sex when they’re ready or when they’re married. Also the Jonas Brothers stay true to what they believe in, wouldn’t you rather them encouraging girls and boys to wait for sex than having sex with every girl they like. I know I say sex a lot in this.
It’s ok having sex but what u should do is wat your heart tells u. It’s your choice and no one is forcing u to do it.Go by wat u think is the best for u. And u ever do it remember be safe and if your a teenager u don’t want to have a baby. I’m just 11 but my mom has told me a lot about sex. Don’t ever do wat your brain, friends, famiily, or other people tell u but remember that it is good to listen to other people anda then decide wat to do but decide with your heart.:)And I’m not a crazy fan like some of my friends

Hmm… I think I would rather them say they’re abstinent than to actually tell kids to go out and have sex before they’re married.
its a personal decision, people should stop judging him. Im no major fan, but he deserves his privacy, if any other american 16 yr. old was going to remain a virgin until marriage, no-one would give it a second though.

Than you have a problem honey.
You are just being conservative.
A mom should be protective , but justins 16 and to it doesn’t seem like he really has anytime to hang out.. Though if i was justin i would want to adventure. I have nothing against religion and justins mom is being a good mom, but its justin bieber you really think hes going to save himself for marriage when could have any girl he wanted.. He should do what he wants its his life and he needs to find out what its like. You should never force a kid to be something their not.. If i was him though all those girls would piss me off..
i think justins mom is right and wrong at the same time. i mean she should trust justin a little bit more and nothing is wrong with ladies whereing bootie shorts once in a while.i know i have. if justin has swear to be a virgin she should justs make sure he keeps the promise not stalk him. plus who would have sex with a boy who doesnt even have a license?!
well miss.b u r doing a great job and i admire dat . i think dat u r a great mother. wel’p u won’t b seeing me have dressed.
Thank you for a real, wholesome mother who is looking out for the wellbeing of her child no matter what situation he is in. Same thing goes for the parents of Joe, Nick, and Kevin Jonas. Still well-grounded no matter how much fame they have. I wonder what their secret is??? I can’t say that Miley Cyrus’ parents have been looking out for her wholesome, age-appropriate image. For example, if an 8-year-old were to search her on Google images, racy photos come up. She has also been caught on video lap dancing with her 40 year old director of ‘The Last Song.’ She is very talented and successful, I hope that does not get to her and cause her to act out without the guidance of her parents in a place as dangerous, and glitzy Hollywood (although it is amazing, glitzy and opportunity filled.)

Some of you need to calm down okay?
Yeah sure everoine has their opinion but if you have nothing nice to say then keep your mouths shut. Yeah i don’t believe in God but you don’t see me insulting people who do.
As for Justin’s mum, good on you. He needs to be watched with all those crazies out there. You’re a good mother
omfg is this for real

haha i think u may find it stranger if u knew what religion do i follow (im a muslim btw) … i know about the killing and stealing part no one would do it (it was the 1st example i remembered)… but they were first forbid by religions ,,, i just think that a religion should guide life of somebody.
also condoms only reduce the chance of pegnancy and u see pregnant teenagers and mothers who are not ready .. its just sad and they may end up “hurting them selves” … but at the end of the day it was their choice no one would stop anybody from doin what they want … but first parents should give them better understanding of why it should be forbidden
I think that sex after marriage is the ideal thing to do. At such a young age as 16 focusing on a job and Baby wouldn’t be easy. And also if you wait until marriage you know u have the full commitment of the person your with and know they won’t just up and leave the next day.
