Justin Timberlake To Do Fashion Week

The always-stylish Justin Timberlake is about to make yet another impression on the fashion world.

WWD reports that the 27-year-old redneck-couture pioneer will make an appearance at New York Fashion Week when apparel company William Rast holds its spring show.  William Rast which is co-owned by Timberlake and his buddy Trace Ayala.

But so far the line’s promo videos have featured only Timberlake.

The Rast show is scheduled for 7 p.m. on February 16. But while JT will be on hand to stand by his brand, a William Rast rep cautions potential attendees that a Justin Timberlake concert won’t be forthcoming.

The company is wise to issue such a warning.  At William Rast’s first New York Fashion Week Show, at the Roseland Ballroom in September, rumors that Timberlake would be performing led to much grumbling among audience members when the concert didn’t materialize.

It’s hard to blame them. Getting stiffed on a Justin Timberlake performance must have been a real drag. Or not.
