Kara DioGuardi Is Returning to American Idol

Rejoice! Or, if you prefer, lament!
E! Online reports that controversial fourth American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi will indeed be returning for the show’s ninth season, which begins shooting auditions in the coming weeks.
“Her deal is done. There are no ifs, ands or buts,” a source reveals. “Done. She will be back.”
The source adds that DioGuardi’s deal is for far less than the judges are receiving. Chances are, she’ll probably also be making less than AI host Ryan Seacrest, who just inked a deal for mega-bucks to remain on the show.

I think that all the focus being on who staying and who leaving is such a waste of time. The show has lost it’s focus. I don’t even watch the show anymore. I remember the first and second season- and it was awsome. The thought of someone taken from a normal life and into stardom was exciting. Now the show is about judges fighting- just disappointing.

who gives a damn about Kara???? Paula has to return or I am OUT. kara has absolutely zero fans. not a single person wants her back. paula has millions of fans who want her back. I am one of them!

The only way I would watch this ridiculously over-hyped show would be if Kara and Paula made out one episode while Seacrest threw $100 bills at them.
oh, you haters can so stop it. To say that the show is losing itself is ridiculous. It is still discovering HUGE stars. and I have to say this last season was my favorite! I love the judges save, and I didn’t mind Kara at all. But I do agree the show will lose alot if Paula doesn’t come back!!! PAULA HAS TO COME BACK! I don’t want to see anyone leave. Really the only sad thing is that there are going to be brand new contestants.. :( Oh, I wish it was season 8 again.

I love Paula- she’s sooooooo pretty and sweet and I really like her fashion style. I won’t watch idol if she doen’t come back. I don’t mind either way w/kara. LUV U PAULA xxoxoxoxoxxoxoxxx
