The Kardashians Join The NOH8 Campaign
The Kardashian sisters are the latest celebs to join the NOH8 Campaign, the silent photo protest created with the goal of ultimately overturning Proposition 8!
Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney took to their respective blogs to chime in on the subject they hold near and dear to their hearts.
Kourtney wrote,
“Now that I am bringing a life into the world, the cause means that much more. I want my son to grow up in a world where love conquers hate. It’s crazy to me that in today’s modern world, the fight for same sex marriage is even an issue.”
Kim announced,
“What I love about the NO H8 campaign is that it symbolizes more than just people’s desires to bring down Prop 8… it’s about promoting love in general! Stop the H8, people!”
Khloe added,
“There should be no limitations as to who we choose to spend our lives with and there should be no outside parties helping to make these decisions for us. If someone had told me that I couldn’t marry Lamar, I would have told them to go F themselves!”
Well said, Khloe. Well said.

Leviticus 20:13 – a man shall not lie with another man as he would with a woman, and if he does, this act will be considered an abomination in the eyes of God.
1 Corinthians 6:9-11 – lists the sin of homosexuality as one of the specific sins that will literally keep you from being able to enter into heaven when you die and cross over.

And santa, the tooth fairy, and the Easter bunny also agree…
love it ; sharing with on fb links
no offense on all the homosexuals but i feel like most of you do not even understand why same sex marriage is opposed by many and why Prop 8 was passed. I feel like most of you are ignorants. If you follow the words of God and educate yourselves, then maybe you could come to your senses. I also feel like most of you are opposing to prop 8 only because your friends, and your idols/famous celebrities are. Learn about it before you protest it!!! NO TO PROP 8.. Thank you.
I LOVE THE KARDASHIAN FAMILY
BUTTT,
the reason it is an issue is because the actual definition of marriage is a union between a MAN and a WOMAN. 2 women or 2 men can never call themselves “married” because that is not what marriage is..think about it, consider it.

Are you serious? What ‘GOD’ said? God even said that a child who disobeys their parents must be stoned to death, that shouldve happened to you years ago. YOU are the one who’s ignorant. God, an entity thats considered half legend half myth, also says, btw, to treat all equally, and that all have the same rights. YOU clearly seem to disagree on that, dont tell others theyre ignorant, and if these three sisters can promote a GOOD cause, what IS your issue anyway?
Youre straight, i get that. But you have no rights to tell anyone theyre ignorant or wrong in being gay, looks like the ignorant one is you after all.
You might want to check up with ‘god’ on what to say next.

Consider what? What an age old bible says, a bible that was written centuries ago? Look, i dont mean to demean the bible in anyway, or homosexuality. But we’ve progressed in every which way possible, from the time the bible started to now, and if you can be so modern in your way of thinking otherwise, i dont see what the problem here is? So what if the marriage has been described as a union between a man and a woman. Love, cant be helped. if its true, its true. man or woman.
Also, look at half your everyday famous families, the union of a man and a woman is meant to last forever, till death, google it and you’ll know how many times one straight man/woman in hollywood is married and divorced. Isnt that worse?

Um, hello, there is not just one religion in this country. People have the right to practice whatever religion they wish, and therefore it’s extremely unreasonable and unfair to prohibit gay marriage just because you interpret the Bible to mean that it’s wrong (although a lot of Christians support gay marriage…) This issue should NOT be voted based on religious beliefs. How would you like it if someone was a scientologist, and they voted for a measure that would prohibit the administration of antidepressants to ALL people, even those don’t practice scientology? Yeah, you wouldn’t like that very much would you?
Or what if the role was reversed? What if marriage with a same sex partner was more common, and people were trying to prohibit marriage with a member of the opposite sex? Wouldn’t you be outraged?

I understand there is more than 1 religion..not one of them supports gay marriage. I am not against gays at all (no true christian supports gay marriage) i want them to have equal rights and be able to be recognized as life partners and should not be hated against..but the issue of marriage is that marriage is blessed by the church, therefore same sex cannot be married. And that scientology issue would never happen, this country was based on Christian values..not Jewish values..or Quanza values..or Muslim values. CHRISTIAN.

did you ever realize that some people are not religious at all? and once again, there is NO NATIONAL RELIGION ENFORCED BY LAW IN THE US. Therefore it’s not right to impose one persons religious beliefs on another person. Also, who cares if the scientology thing would never happen? That’s not the point. The point is, how would you like it if that happened? it’s the same thing- one group of people who believe a certain thing imposing their beliefs on other people.
also, how does gay marriage affect you in any way? Heterosexual couples divorce at a higher rate than homosexual couples, so you can’t use the “sanctity of marriage” argument. If a man marries a man, please tell me how this affects your life in a way that you feel strongly enough that it should be voted against?
wouldn’t it make more sense to come together and make a compromise on the issue of equal rights rather than launching a campaign they is seemingly dividing people based on mere opposing views on a simple definition of marriage. i personally don’t think its fair to say that people who don’t except it, and a people of hate and a or are holders of a dark, and judgmental demeanor. this campaign should be more expressive of unity and common ground, not separating the opposing party from the non opposing party. its going to talk all people to solve this issue. not just a certain group of them.
