Superman Returns actress Kate Bosworth, 25, notoriously known for her frail figure, appears to have gained some weight and looks all the better for it.

Unfortunately, the dog lover seems to have sacrificed healthy hair and fashion sense in the bargain.

Bosworth was one of the many celebs who made an appearance at Global Green USA's 6th Annual Pre-Oscar Party at the Avalon nightclub last night.

The actress, also known for her roles in 21 and Blue Crush, didn't pay much attention to her lank hair.

And she was also sporting a nightmare version of the little black dress, which appeared to have been attacked by Tribbles before the event.

You can't win em' all.

Speaking of Tribbles, new Captain Kirk Chris Pine was in attendance at the event. As well as Heather Graham, Benjamin McKenzie, Neil Patrick Harris, Tyrese Gibson, Gavin Rossdale and Kate Walsh.

All of whom surely were nice enough not to comment on Kate's unfortunate dress.
