Kate Gosselin Gives Her Kid a Smack

Apparently, a little bit of vacation time does wonders for Kate Gosselin's demeanor.

The Jon & Kate Plus 8 über-shrew is back in Reading, Pennsylvania, after enjoying some rest and relaxation on Bald Head Island, North Carolina, and a kinder, gentler mega-mom seems to have emerged.

After gassing up the car, making a run to Kinko's and doing some grocery shopping, Gosselin returned home and planted a loving kiss on her daughter's cheek. That's a far cry from the razor-tongued harpie who, less than a week ago, reportedly threatened to extinguish her children's lives if they dared to splash her with water.
