Kate Gosselin Is Not Moving To Maryland

There's no bachelorette pad for Kate Gosselin—yet!

Despite rumors that she was looking to buy a condo in Rockville, Maryland (conveniently super close to her alleged lover, ex-bodyguard, Steve Neild), the mother of eight is denying the allegations.

"She is not buying or renting in the area," says the source. "Kate was having lunch there, and after spending a total of one hour in a restaurant that has condos for sale above it, a rumor began that somehow, suddenly, she was buying a condo there. She didn't even know there were apartments for sale there. It's totally false."

To add proof to her claim, the sales representative at said condominium has never met Kate, and there is no record of a purchase in her name in the area.

Her friend adds, "One thing is certain. Kate absolutely will not live far from her family, ever. Period. She would never choose to be so far from home."

We know someone who would probably disagree...we're not naming names.

Thank goodness! There's already plenty of crazy in Rockville, Md. Mrs. Gosselin needs to stay in Pa., with her clan.
