Kate Gosselin Only Gave Jon $5 A Day
More details are emerging about Kate and Jon Gosselin‘s strange marriage, and they just keep getting juicier!
Us Weekly is spilling details about the tight leash that Kate had on her husband Jon. ”She used to give him only $5 to spend, and if he was out and needed more money, she would give him hell,” said Jon’s former employer at Style Craft Corp, David Rothermel.
David also reports that before Jon was fired for misusing company resources, Kate would publicly humiliate Jon at his work. ”She came in raising hell because Jon’s father was supposed to bring her lunch and he was late,” Rothermel said. “She got up out of bed rest to come in and yell at anyone who would listen!”
Monday’s premiere of the new season of their show, Jon and Kate Plus 8, gave TLC their highest ratings ever. Katie did, however, recognize how harsh she has been on her husband over the years on the one hour season premiere.
She admitted that she’s “been hard” on him, saying “I would never deny that. I’ve always regretted it.”

this is getting ridiculous. yes she’s a bitch, but he is still the one who got caught cheating. he never stands up to her and relies on her to tell him what to do. she is way more hands on than he ever is.

well I have always enjoyed watching your show, but I always felt Kate was too bossy with you. That being said you had to know being on t.v would make your family famous. I really believe you two should do everything possible to work things out for your kids sake – cuz I am divorced and it is hell on the kids – even when you think you will do everything to make the transition easier – that never works. Your kids deserve more than the two of you are giving them. I wish you and your children all the best – they deserve it.

Jon should read up on Narcissic personality Disorder and he will understand Kate a lot better. Usually there is no cure for this and Jon is right to move on rather than be treated as an inferior and be verbally torn down daily. Kate will never change and will probably stay on the road “doing it for the children” while the children are raised by others. Kate is where she wants to be at this moment, basking in the spotlight of paparazzi and TV. She loves being a celebrity even if it is a bad one. Jon should see his kids as often as he can and leave Kate to wallow in her fantasy world of queendom. Jon can find someone better who doesn’t have NPD.
I believe they should try to work things out, on the other hand: 1. not the first nor last to cheat 2. There are rumors she too cheated with the bodyguard 3. She never lets him finish a damn sentence. 4. She is always complaining and finally 5. Jon needs to step up to the plate-pull down his pants and show her what a man carries..hahaha (figure of speach )
This woman is an absolute witch. She cannot see it. I dare anyone to live like that like Jon did for so many years and not do something stupid like cheat or drink too much. Her own kids, the older two, have made statements in public as to how they don’t like their Mother. She needs serious therapy and the sooner the better. I feel for Jon. Kate is a shrew that can never be tamed. Jon has been verbally abused by her for many years, and I don’t blame him for seeking greener pastures.
She needs to be with a black brother for just 1 week. When she would start that constant bitching, he would beat the sh*t out of her and teach her how to act right. Jon needs to grow a pair and get in her face just like she does him.
The tv crews need to leave, all of the companies giving her free sh*t need to stop and every one need to just stop helping her. Let her take care of those 8 kids by herself and then lets see how she treats JOn. If she had to do it all by herself, she would change her tune real quick.
