Tuesday night the British Fashion Awards were held at London's Dorchester Hotel.

Photographers reveled in snapping pics of the mysteriously-injured couple that is Kate Moss and Jamie Hince as they left the shindig.

However, after arriving home, Kate, 34 and Jamie, 39, played a trick on the photographers by spraying them with a hose pipe. Good times!

As for the cuts and scratches on the faces of the supermodel and her Kills guitarist, the Daily Mail reports that the abrasions were caused by a "Christmas decoration accident."

Moss and Hince attended a Christmas tree-lighting ceremony at Stella McCartney's store in London's posh Mayfair district Monday night, and regaled party-goers with the story of their accident.

"He said he was on a ladder and she was waiting at the bottom for him to pass down the boxes of decorations," said a guest. "But he lost his grip on one and heavy decorations landed on their heads."

Well, that story does kind of give new meaning to "deck the halls."
